The burning of fossil fuels by the transportation industry is not sustainable! Our automotive industry (and ALL of US) is in such denial even though they/we tend to espouse green credentials through EV's and other schemes. This charade is one of the many atrocities that is presently destroying our human habitable environment. Though the Earth really does not care, WE as the dominant living species should!
