Connecting The Dots With Vern
The Camera as a Canvas of Painted Light. Ever since I was a child, I have enjoyed the interplay of fleeting time referencing lights-in-motion. As the lights splinter and fuse, the shutter stays open for longer than an instant in time. This allows me to turn the camera into a controllable paint brush intermixed with (fleeting) time.Though seemingly random, and always with a catalyst of chance, the ability to scribe this cacophony of motion-with-light upon the canvas of my camera, brings forth wonderful shapes in a permatization of the random.
