PW4000 Jet Engine, Fanjet
- This high bypass fanjet engine has a main fan diameter of 2.8 meters (112 inch). It is specifically built for the Boeing 777. It is delivered in thrust ranges of 86,760 to 99,040 lbf (386 to 441 kN). It entered service in June 1995 with United Airlines UAL;, and was the first jet engine to enter service with 180-minute ETOPS certification. It powers all the 777 versions except the 300ER and 200LR.
