Originally built by the . Louis Car Co. in 1948 for the San Francisco Municipal Railway, this streetcar faithfully ran on Muni?s J, K, L, M, and N lines until 1982. It was then stored for some time. Finally in 1995 it was restored to serve the new F-line. This paint scheme is to remember the Illinois Terminal Railroad, which once ran an extensive interurban passenger service in Illinois.
