Introduced: 1981 Original Price: $4950 This model was the first in the 100 series of HP personal computers. It had 2 Zilog Z80 CPUs to run the included CP/M OS. One of these two CPUs controlled the I/O activities and terminal functions. The second CPU was used for controlling HP-IB peripherals and also the processing system commands. The monochrome ET monitor screen had a resolution of 24-line by 80-character text output and measured 12 inches diagonally. This HP 125 standard memory came with 64K of RAM.
