Title:: Raromatai-Ferry, Tahiti Inter-island Service; In 1973 Peter Deilmann got his start in Germany with ferry connections between Neustadt and Ronne (Bornholm). He used a small ferry seen here then named Nordlicht. In 1985 the ship was sold for inter-island service in Tahiti as the Raromatai Ferry seen here. I had the good fortune of being allowed to bunk at the top outside deck and you will see some images I took from this overnight run from Tahiti to Bora Bora with several stops in between. It was an amazing journey.
