A large cargo container ship called the Cosco Busan was navigating through dense fog in San Francisco Bay when it bumped into the guard posts protecting one of the towers supporting the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. This "bump" caused fuel oil to spill out into the bay closing down beachs and waterways.
