Gordon M. Shrum Generating Station, W A. C. Bennett Dam
- This is hydroelectric earthfill dam is on the Peace River in northern British Columbia. It came on-line in 1968. This structure contains earth-fill dam, which holds back Williston Lake, and the underground Gordon M. Shrum Generating Station. It is one of the largest hydroelectric dams in the world. At peak output this dam can generate 2,730 megawatts of electricity.
