- The Chesapeake is owned by the National Park Service and is on a 25 year loan to the Baltimore Maritime Museum as it can be seen here moored at Pier 3 in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The Chesapeake is open for boarding via a paid admission to the Museum. It is now designated a National Historic Landmark.
