We are in fervent denial that our human-caused "pollution" is not that big of a deal (think about it), and all the while believing technological solutions will eventually and simply bail us out (think about it). Our inability to acknowledge the destruction of our environmental abuse is one of the many atrocities that is presently destroying a habitable world.
