Narrative:
The failure of the main landing gear strut from fatigue caused the civilian helicopter to roll over while idling and boarding passengers atop the PanAm building in Midtown Manhattan. Film producer Michael Findley (39) was killed. A women was also killed by debris falling on the city streets below the Panam building.
