Warty Comb Jelly, (Mnemiopsis leidyi), Eumetazoa, Ctenophora, Ctenophores, Tentaculata, Lobata, Bolinopsidae, euryoecious
- This species is very transparent like most jellyfish of which it resembles but is not in the same phylum. It is oval-shaped and has four rows of very active ciliated combs that trace the body vertically and glow blue-green when disturbed. They do have several feeding tentacles that do not sting unlike their cousins the Cnidarians.
