This streetcar was built by the St. Louis Car Co. in 1948 for the Philadelphia Transportation Company (as car No. 2096). In 1992 it was acquired by Muni from Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, Philadelphia PA, 1992. This paint scheme commemorates the city of Baltimore, which ran PCC streetcars from 1936 to 1963.
