- This structure is a 390 foot tall earthen dam. Behind it is the Blue Mesa Reservoir, and is within Curecanti National Recreation Area. Colorado State Route 92 runs over the top of the dam.
This dam contains two turbine generators that produce an average of 264,329,000 kilowatt-hours per year.
