Radio Dish Antenna, VLA
- This radio observatory consists of 27 radio antennas on rails in a Y-shaped configuration. The position of this array can vary and the data from the 27 antennas is combined electronically providing a resolution much greater than would be physically possible in one antenna. The maximum separation can be up to 36 kilometers.
