Title:
Grumman, X-29 FSW, NASA, Air Force Museum
This jet first flew on 14/12/1984. The novel configuration of a forward swept wind along with other innovations for testing gave insight into the various flight regimes studied. Two X-29's were built from Northrop F-5A aircraft that were highly modified and also included F-16 parts.
