Cranmore Mountain Funicular, New Hampshire, 1952, 1950s, Ski-Mobile, Skimobile
- This was the second funicular in the USA - since 1938, and was dismantled in 1989, Mt Cranmore Skimobile in New Hampshire, which was a different take on the funicular, and the only lift of its kind in the world until its removal in the late 1980s. It featured carriages (or skimobiles) that rolled on a wooden track up and down the mountain pulled by a single cable.
