This aircraft was delivered from Douglas new to Continental Airlines COA in 1968. Then at one point Air California ACL was expanding and ordered 737's but had to wait a while for the production slot. In the interim Air California ACL leased two DC-9-14's from Continental Airlines COA to fill in the gap. This is one of them seen here.
