- This venerable DC-3 was the first delivered to United Air Lines on November 25, 1936. This DC-3 was also first to be outfitted with Pratt & Whitney supercharged piston engines. UAL gave it a fleet name of "Mainliner Reno". The Reno pioneered many of UAL's services from coast to coast. To this day it is the second oldest DC-3A and is still in flyable condition.
