Narrative:
On a sightseeing flight and 8 minutes into the flight, about 350-400 feet above the Hudson River while on an approach to a landing, a twenty-inch part of the composite main rotor blade fractured from the rest of the main rotor blade. The pilot made an emergency autorotation and landed on the water after activating its' emergency float system. The EC130 landed upright on its floats and all passengers and crew escaped safely.
