Los Angeles Airways was based in Los Angeles, California. The airline was founded in 1947 as a mail shuttle between the LA main post office and LAX. In 1954 passenger services started and were offered to area airports as well as Disneyland from Los Angeles International Airport. In 1971 Los Angeles Airways ceased operations after being purchased by Golden West Airlines.
