- Adults rank among the largest snakes in the world, reaching lengths of more than 8.8 m (29 feet), though average size is closer to 6 meters. It rivals the Reticulated Python (Python reticulatus) for length, but is usually considerably heavier. It can weigh 250 kg and have a diameter of more than 30 cm.
