Curtiss-Wright CW-20 (C-46 Commando), Twin Engine Prop, Air Haiti AirlinesLN: CU136 This aircraft was first flown by the USAAF in 1943 and then by the US Marine Corps. In 1957 it was converted to a Super 46C configuration at which point it was acquired by Varig in August 1970. In October 1978 "La Perle des Antilles" was re-registered HH-AHA and continued in service for another 10 years before being abandoned at Port-au-Prince, where it remains in a decaying state.
